" The Mining Code revised soon ," as his side tri-weekly Africa News writes that the representative of the Minister of Mines has expressed the wish to see the Mining Code to be implemented , safeguard the interests of the State and all actors involved. He said he was satisfied because the recommendations of this meeting showed more points of convergence than divergence .

On another topic , Radio Okapi reports that the Senate passed Wednesday, November 20 recommendations of the commission that investigated the pollution of the coastal city in Moanda Bas- Congo after oil extraction . The Senate recommends including Perenco to invest in environmental compliance and decontaminate the soil and waters of this coastal city. Chairman of the Senate Committee , Flora Mosendu , calls on the authorities to bring Perenco to assume its responsibilities for the maintenance of ecosystem Moanda .


The same media reports that fishermen operating on Lake Edward to Kanyabayobga ( North Kivu ) unlawfully use more than four hundred children aged 12-17 years in this business. The denunciation was made Thursday, November 21 by President Kakule Kaniki research center on the environment, democracy and human right ( CREDDHO ) .
