DRC natural resources press review of Thursday, September 26, 2013

The mining company Kibali Gold Mining product, Tuesday, September 24, 2013 , the first gold at its processing plant in Doko , in the territory of Watsa (Eastern Province) . Radio Okapi reports that the first casting was attended by the Minister of Mines , Martin Kabwelulu Labilo and Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province , Pascal Mombi . The latter stated that this production was the first gold produced in the DRC for over a decade ingot. The Minister of Mines of the Eastern Province , Paulin Odiane , said the plant will produce Kibali Gold Mining initially from 15 to 10 tons of gold per year. He was confident that this production will have an impact on the economy of the province.
For Dépêches de Brazzaville , the official announcement came on the sidelines of the annual forum of the Denver Gold and it is a world-class facility built on a remote site. The deposit's reserves are estimated at 11 million ounces.On another subject , referring to the development of the EITI Report 2010 , the Avenir newspaper announced that the ASADHO calls for opening prosecution authorities DGRAD . According to the paper , the organization of civil society calls on the Attorney General of the Republic ( Pgr ) to open a criminal case against officials of the Directorate General of administrative revenue frontier and equity ( DGRAD ) about 26 million U.S. dollars not tracked by the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF ) . Quoting the press ASADHO , the log indicates that this amount represents a portion of payments made in 2010 by mining companies for the benefit of DGRAD , on behalf of the Treasury, from commercial banks . The African Association for Human Rights (ASADHO ) also calls for the Government , administrative penalties against the authorities of that financial governance in the DRC.
The Energy Information System (SIE-DRC) proceeded, Wednesday, September 25, 2013 with the presentation of its 2013 annual report. Recalling that this document is a significant statistical support for the implementation of government policy in the energy sector , the Potentiel newspaper reports that, for the 2011 energy balance reading releases large statistical information such domestic supply is the order of 23,629 pounds toe ( ketep ) , against 24,116 ktoe in 2010, which represents a decrease of 2%.
